About Stowpocket

Stowpocket is a deal verification engine. Every deal on the site is verified before it goes live — today by a real person, increasingly backed by tracked price history and automated checks. The price is verified against the merchant's own listing, the reference price carries the merchant's own label (Comp. Value, List Price, Was — never our invention), and the product image comes from the merchant.

What we believe

Deal sites have a trust problem: inflated strikethroughs, phantom “was” prices, and links that go who-knows-where. We built Stowpocket to be the opposite. If a discount is shown, the reference price was displayed by the merchant themselves, labeled in their own words. If a deal dies, we mark it dead instead of quietly leaving it up.

How we make money

Right now, we don't. Stowpocket isn't in any affiliate program yet, so every “Get this deal” link goes directly to the merchant and we earn nothing from your purchase. When affiliate relationships begin, our disclosure page will say so — before the first commission is ever earned.
